Everybody coming and going...
The only thing that could be better was this guy flying around, posing.
These photos were taken just minutes apart.
Far from it, in fact. Six photos.
Just a quick reminder that today and tomorrow are the last days to get the Kindle edition of my novel Walk Me Home for only $2.
The Cloud Painter really dipped into the color palette this morning. Three photos.
...enjoying the last few days of summer.

Ha ha.
Any birders out there want to check me on this? I think they are migratory Caspian terns. There were four or five of them fishing off the coast.
Beauty you have to look closer to appreciate, or even notice. Three photos.
Two photos
Twice this month I've had teachers email me and ask if I would donate books for their class or library. There's no funding available to buy them, and the teachers can't afford to buy as many as they need out of their own pocket. The more I think about it, the more it makes me furious. Not because they asked me for books--that was creative and understandable and I'm working with them to solve the thing. I'm furious because we have the money to subsidize big oil companies. We have the money to give a tax rebate to GE, one of the richest corporations in the world. But we don't have the money for books for our schools. Shows where our priorities are. And where they need to be.
My favorite photo for quite a while, and I'm thinking I shouldn't have put three photos in the same post. You'd have to click through to see them all.
