Rounding out a lovely day of clouds/
In a fancy mood.
I didn't hear music. But these little puffs of clouds on contrails looked like notes on a scale to me. (Four photos.)
You have to really bank those turns. (Even if the other guy doesn't.)
...the succulents in my window box are thriving.
Turkey vultures are not very attractive birds, but in the sky with their wings spread, they cut a striking figure.
...is a pesky little cat brother. Stealing her bed, or worse.
...the cat comes and unwraps her like a big present. Oh, that face full of mischief.
Four photos.
Aren't ducks supposed to love water? They always seem to be trying to avoid it. (Two photos.)
Looks like two, but it's three
See? Three.
Four photos
Somebody caught a fish
A little early in the season, but I was there today with my friend Andrea Hurst, and the earlybirds were beginning to gather. (Five photos.)
I saw another of those new butterflies. And now I have forgotten again what it's called.
I'll tell you what I see in these four cloud paintings, and you tell me if you see something different.
1. Two puppies play-fighting (one is on his side, back paws toward us).
2. Aardvark, faced away (not sure what's on the ground in front of him).
3. A dog with goggles driving a convertible with a baby elephant in the back seat.
4. A dinosaur (or a short-nosed crocodile) taking a BIG bite. (With a halo!)
The Cloud Painter makes a heart out of clear blue sky.
If they didn't have that distinctive cry, I'd never know they were sitting in the trees outside my house.
The only explanation for this is a dormant tomato seed in the compost.
Three photos.
I can't tell you how often I want to ask Jordan, "Comfy enough?" (Three photos.)
