A Giveaway for Writers

Many of you know that my friend Anne R. Allen and I co-authored a nonfiction book for writers that came out this year. It's called How to be a Writer in the E-Age...And Keep Your E-Sanity. It's getting lovely reviews on the bookseller sites, and the writers I know who have picked up a copy have good things to say.
For those of who who don't know Anne (and I'm guessing most of you do, at least by way of her accomplishments), she is a highly successful publishing industry blogger. Her blog, Anne R. Allen's Blog...with Ruth Harris, has garnered numerous awards and is quickly becoming a leading go-to source for up-to-the-minute industry news. So the match was a good one in terms of what we had to offer to our fellow writers, especially those on the newer end of the process.
Now Anne and I are teaming up to bring you some free copies of How to be a Writer. Here's what Anne is announcing on her blog today:
Catherine Ryan Hyde and I have written a handbook for beginning writers called HOW TO BE A WRITER IN THE E-AGE…AND KEEP YOUR E-SANITY. It doesn't favor either traditional or self-publishing and has lots of advice for both routes.
In honor of the holidays, Catherine and I are running a promotion this week of HOW TO BE A WRITER. We're giving away THREE PAPERBACK COPIES and THREE E-BOOKS-any format: Nook, Kindle, Kobo (the ebooks come with free updates.)
Anybody who would like to be eligible for the free give-aways, just mention "free book" in the comments. If you go over to Catherine's blog and comment there, you'll get your name in twice. The contest will go until 9 PM next Saturday, December 15th. Winners will be announced on this blog next Sunday.
